1.  Check-in and check-out times

 

Cliff Hotel & Spa****

Check-in time is from 3pm. Check out time is until 11am.

 

Ville Belvedere***

Check-in time is from 3pm. Check out time is until 10am..

 

Camping Belvedere**

Check-in time from 12.00 p.m. until 22.00. Check-out time from the camp is from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

2. Reservation Conditions

Reservations for overnight stays in our hotels are made through online channels or through direct requests (e-mail, website, phone call). Camping reservations are made by email.

In any event, the guest agrees to provide us with an active email address or other contact information upon making the reservation and authorizes us to use it for information and verification purposes related to the reservation. In the event that the user cannot be reached electronically or by telephone, or provides us with an incorrect or invalid email address, we reserve the right to cancel such a reservation.

 

3. Terms of Payment and Cancellation

Individual reservations (up to 5 rooms)
Option 1: "FREE Cancellation – Pay at Hotel or Camp"
This payment and cancellation option is only available for bookings of up to 5 rooms (individual bookings). Such reservations can be canceled free of charge 14 to 2 days before arrival.

If canceled within a certain period of time before arrival or if you do not show up at the hotel or camp, the first night will be charged, unless otherwise stated. Payment in the hotel (reception) is possible by credit card or cash (EUR only).

A cancellation must be made in writing.

Option 2: "No Refund"
Non-refundable bookings require full prepayment at the time of booking, no later cancellations or changes to the booking are possible.

If the credit card information is incorrect or the card cannot be charged for other reasons, Belvedere d.o.o. has the right to cancel the reservation. If the reservation contains contact details, Belvedere d.o.o. may prompt the customer to provide new credit card information.

If the guest cancels or changes the reservation or does not show up at the hotel or camp, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

 

Option 3: "Reservation with DEPOSIT"

Belvedere d.o.o. reserves the right to request a deposit. If payment is made in advance within the agreed period, the reservation is considered confirmed. If the guest cancels the reservation in writing within the agreed period, he is entitled to a refund of the full amount of the advance payment. If the guest cancels the reservation AFTER the notice period, Belvedere d.o.o. retains the total amount paid. The guest has the right to use the amount paid for the accommodation service in another period within a year.

Early departure
If the guest leaves the hotel or camp prematurely without prior notice, Belvedere d.o.o. has the right to charge 50% of the value of each night booked and not taken.
 

Group reservations (more than 5 rooms)
All reservations for 5 or more rooms are subject to special payment and cancellation policies.

A deposit of 30% is required for reservations made more than 30 days prior to arrival. The deposit paid will be refunded up to 30 days before arrival, later cancellation free of charge is no longer possible and the deposit paid will not be refunded (cancellation fee). The balance of 70% (or difference) must be paid 14 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

Reservations made up to 30 days prior to arrival require an immediate, non-refundable prepayment. You can get an estimate for the prepayment and more information from our reservations department (belvedere@belvedere.si, Tel + 386 5 66 05 100) to your e-mail address. Prepayment is possible by bank transfer or credit card. If the provided contact information is not valid or in case of an inactive card, Belvedere d.o.o. has the right to cancel the reservation.

 

4. Right of withdrawal and amendment

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation and, under special circumstances, to cancel, adjust or change your arrangement.

If we are forced to cancel, adjust or change the reservation, the guest will be offered an alternative date.

In the event of overbooking, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate of the customer in a hotel of the same category with similar services (completely or partialy). All additional accommodation and transport costs between the two hotels concerned are borne by Belvedere d.o.o.

Belvedere d.o.o. shall not be liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure. Examples of force majeure and unforeseen circumstances are those commonly recognized as such by case law and the court.
 
 

5. Tourist tax and registration fee

The price of accommodation is increased by the amount of the tourist tax, which is determined by a decree of the Municipality of Izola, and the one-time registration fee, which is payable per person.

 

6. Prices

The prices for accommodation include the statutory value-added tax (VAT). The price is for a single room/plot, for a selected number of people, on the selected dates.

Prices may change daily based on supply and demand.

The price of accommodation does not include drinks, food, phone calls, laundry and other services.

Special and promotional offers only apply if the stay is not shortened.

Discounts do not add up.

 

7. Additional Offers

All additional offers can only be booked on request and are subject to availability.

 


8. Rules of stay in the hotel and camp

Make your stay in the Belvedere Resort's guest rooms and common areas as comfortable and considerate as possible. Due to legitimate complaints from other guests about excessive noise, the person who caused the noise must leave the hotel or campsite immediately and without reimbursement.

Smoking is not permitted in Cliff Hotel & Spa, Villas Belvedere, Kamin Restaurant and all indoor common areas. Violation of said regulation (smoking regardless of the substance) will result in a fine of EUR 500.00 per day.

We make every effort to provide our guests with clean rooms. In the event of major soiling/stains or damage to our property, you agree to pay for cleaning of at least 50 EUR or pay the full cost of repairing/replacing damaged items/equipment. Additional costs incurred by you in connection with the provided rooms, campsite, restaurant and other rooms/items/services can be paid during your stay or at check-out.

 


9. Parking 

Parking is free for guests of our hotel, campsite, restaurant and spa.

 


10. Loss and Damage to Guest Property

Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged property or for any damage suffered by you or anyone from your company while staying on our premises. You can store money and valuables in a safe in the room or at the reception.

 

11. Pets

Pets are only allowed in certain rooms of Villas Belvedere ***. The price for the stay is €20.00 per animal/night (except guide dogs, which stay for free). Pre-registration is absolutely necessary!

Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. Dogs are allowed at lunch or dinner outside on the terrace (weather permitting).

 

12. Complaints

In the event of damage to the room or campsite, the guest must notify reception or the chambermaids immediately and allow the service staff to remedy the damage in a timely manner. If the guest does not take this into account, he is not entitled to change the duration of the accommodation due to poor accommodation or to request discounts.
 

13. Access and the right to enter the room

We reserve the right to enter all rooms at a reasonable time and for legitimate reasons. For legitimate reasons, in particular due to urgent maintenance and inspection work, receptionists, chambermaids and our service staff may enter any room/area unannounced.

 

14. Gift Certificates

A gift voucher can be purchased by a natural or legal person. The gift certificate can be paid for in cash, by card or by bank transfer to the company's current account.

Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Our employees have the option to extend the gift voucher for a further 6 months. In exceptional cases, the gift voucher can be exceptionally extended by a further 4 months.

A reservation must be made before each use of the services. The gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking, otherwise the service cannot be used.

If the customer does not come (no-show) and does not cancel the reservation, the gift voucher is considered redeemed. For wellness and catering services, the reservation must be canceled at least 24 hours before the agreed date, otherwise the gift voucher is considered redeemed. For overnight stays in the hotel or campsite, the reservation must be canceled at least 72 hours before arrival. The gift voucher for the service to be redeemed can only be used once.

 

15. Intellectual Property​

Our sign, name and logo are basic elements of the visual identity of Belvedere d.o.o. Their use without the consent of the owner is not allowed.
